Julie Hattier - Practice Manager
Julie and her family moved to the Waco area from San
Antonio in 1994. She joined the South Bosque team in
2003 as a Veterinary Technician. Julie married her
husband Mark in 1988. Between them, they have four
sons, two daughters-in-law and four grandchildren. Julie
says they have replaced their four sons with their four
dogs, (Klinger, Stevie, Chachi & Gomez) who are all
rescues.

Don Ickles - Animal Caregiver
Don grew up and attended schools in Waco. He is a graduate
of Baylor University and has his masters from UNT. Don
joined the South Bosque team in January of 2010 after retiring
from his professional career of 37 years. He married his wife
Suzi in 1973. They have shared their lives with dogs and cats
for over 30 years and their family consists of five dogs
(Buddie, Sugar, Patches, Belle and Beau) and three cats
(Willie, Twohig, & Charlie). In Don's spare time he
participates in a variety of outdoor activities: ultra marathon
cycling, mountain biking, running, kayaking, hiking and
nature tourism. He is an active member of the Waco Bicycle
Club, Waco Strider's Running Club and the H.O.T. Pond and
Water Garden Society.

Robin Jones - Veterinary Technician
Supervisor
Robin is from the tiny town of Goldthwaite and moved
to Waco in 2006. She has been a part of the South
Bosque team since February 2010. Robin has three
crazy cats named Cricket, Momo and Meke, and one
outgoing puppy, Brinley. She was recently married to
her husband, Josh, in June 2010. In her spare time
Robin enjoys singing, dancing and doing recreational
sports at the lake. Robin is compassionate with all the
animals she comes across and is excited to increase her
education in veterinary medicine .

Kaitlan Hansen - Veterinary Technician
Kaitlan has lived in Texas her whole life and has been a
part of the SBVC team since July 2008. She is currently
attending MCC for the Veterinary Technician program.
Kaitlan has four dogs Duke, Amy, Rascal, & Abby. Her
hobbies are singing, camping, swimming, working out
and anything dealing with animals. She continues
working at SBVC as a part time employee. In the future
Kaitlan hopes to work in a field that involves protecting
animals and making sure they are safe.
Kayla Sandhoff - Veterinary Technician
Kayla is from Riesel, Texas and graduated high school
in 2008. She attended Vogue College of Cosmetology
and graduated with her Esthetician and Nail Technician
license in June 2009. She moved with her family to
Robinson in March of 2010. She is engaged to be
married to her fiancé, Jordan, in April 2012. Kayla has
four crazy chihuahuas: Trixie, Coco, Mitzu, & Mazdi.
She spends her free time riding motorcycles with
Jordan and their friends, going to the movies and
playing with and taking care of her animals. Kayla has
always loved animals and will strive to give all the
SVBC animals the compassion she would want her
own to have.
Dee Dee Niles - Receptionist
Dee Dee is from Riesel, Texas. She is married her husband
Ryan in 2003 they are both graduates of Riesel High School.
She has four children: Cayla, Olan, Kristen, and Rhody. Dee
Dee has three dogs, a cat and one guinea pig. All of Dee
Dee's children are very active in FFA where they show
animals including pigs, sheep, and goats. She is so happy to
be a part of the staff at SBVC and the hopes to build a career
here.
Angel Taylor - Veterinary Technician
Angel joined the SBVC team in October 2010. Angel was
born and raised in Waco. She married her husband Loren
in 2002. She has two daughters, Hope who is attending
Texas A&M to become a veterinarian and Josie who
attends Midway High School. Angel has four dogs:
Bugsy, Alicia, Harley, & Twiggy. Angel also enjoys her
collection of exotic animals which include two snakes,
two bearded dragons, one uromastyx and seven
tarantulas. In her free time Angel likes to read and do
some cross-stitch.
Chelsea Campouris - Receptionist
Chelsea was born and raised and Waco and now lives in
China Spring with her fiancé, Jonathan. They have three
dogs (Mishka, Keystone, & Tank,) and two cats (Tiger &
Keelee). The entire family likes to hang out on the river by
their house fishing, hunting and eating BBQ. It has always
been Chelsea's passion to work with animals. She is very
happy to be able to work with the veterinarians and help
them with animals. Chelsea joined the SBVC team in
November 2010.
Shannon Stone - Animal Caregiver
Shannon grew up and attended school in Waco. She now
lives in Robinson with her husband, Justice. She joined
the SBVC team in December of 2010 and works part
time while attending school at TSTC. Shannon is
studying for her associates degree in Environmental and
Health Safety. She plans to stay with us until she
graduates some time in 2013. Shannon has two pugs at
home named Elvis and Krissy. She enjoys mountain and
road biking with the Waco Bicycling Club.
LeAnne Fuller - Receptionist
LeAnne was born and raised in Waco and has always been
a huge animal advocate. She married her husband, Terry,
in 1989 and they have 13 "four-legged" children all of
which are rescue dogs. In her time away from SBVC she
loves to spend time at home with her own pets, going to
the movies and riding with her husband on their Harley.
LeAnne joined the SBVC team in March of 2011.
Carrie Goad - Veterinary Technician
Carrie currently lives in Bruceville-Eddy. She has four dogs;
Sadie, Harley, Bentley, and Lilly. Carrie loves working with
animals and while working with rescue dogs in 2010 she
discovered her calling of being a veterinary technician. In her
spare time Carrie enjoys watching movies and relaxing. She
joined the SBVC team in March of 2011.
Hope Voegele - Animal Caregiver
Hope has grown up in Waco and joined South Bosque
in January 2009. She graduated from Midway High
School in June of 2010 and is currently attending
Texas A&M University, where she is majoring in
Animal Science and also receiving a Certificate of
Meat Science. After finishing undergraduate studies,
Hope wants to go to Veterinary school. Hope has one
dog Alicia; two bearded dragons Arlington & Zonkos;
and seven tarantulas. Hope is excited for the
opportunities and experiences that she gains here at
SBVC.





Hope Von Staden- Receptionist
Hope was born and raised in the small town of
Bruceville-Eddy. While in high school, Hope was very
involved in sports such as; softball, cheer leading, golf,
tennis, volleyball, & power lifting. Hope graduated in high
school in 2009 and is currently attending McLennan
Community College majoring in Liberal Arts. In her free
time, Hope enjoys reading and spending time with her
seven nieces & nephews. Hope joined SBVC in October
of 2011.
Hannah Shepherd- Animal Caregiver
Hannah was born and raised in Waco, and is currently
attending Midway High School. When she graduates
she is planning on attending McLennan Community
College to take her basics. Hannah has one cat named
Maggie. In her spare time she likes to take pictures and
draw.
