Julie Hattier - Business Manager

Julie and her family moved to the Waco area from San
Antonio fourteen years ago.  She joined the South
Bosque team in 2002 as a receptionist.  Julie has been
married to her husband, Mark, for twenty one years, and
between them, they have four sons, two
daughters-in-law, three grandchildren and one on the
way. Julie says they have replaced their four sons with
their four dogs, (Klinger, Radar, Stevie and Lily) who are
all rescues.

Nina Guerrero- Receptionist

Nina is from Waco, Texas and joined the South
Bosque team in January of 2009. Nina is married to
her husband Diago Jr. and has 2 daughters, Alyssa
who is 9 years old and Destinee who is 1 year old.
She is a graduate of University High School and
attended Cosmetology School in 2008. She has
been working in the health field for 6 years and has
a Yorkshire Terrier named "Miley".
Sharlene Castoe- Veterinary Technician

Sharlene has been a part of the South Bosque team
since May 2009. She has 1 son, Chase who is 8 years
old. Sharlene has resided in central Texas for 25 years
and loves to go camping, fishing and anything
outdoors. Sharlene has several pets at home including
2 cats, Bandit and Snake Eyes and 1 dog named
Buddy.  
Liz Walker- Practice Manager

Liz has been with the South Bosque team since
December 2009. She is happily married to her husband,
David, and has 2 children, Jacob and Collin. Liz
volunteers at the Waco Humane Society and is also a
foster mom for many lucky pets. Liz's hobbies include
outdoor activities, painting and spending time with her
canine kids, Sam and Lucy, who are labs and Annie, a
poodle.
Don Ickles- Animal Caregiver

Don grew up and attended schools in Waco. He is a
graduate of Baylor University and has his masters from
UNT. Don joined the South Bosque team in January of
2010 after retiring from his professional career of 37 years.
He has been married to his wife, Suzi for 36 years. Don and
Suzi have shared their lives with dogs and cats for over 30
years and their family consists of 4 dogs (Buddie, Sugar,
Patches and Beau) and 5 cats (Willie, Mollie, Twohig,
Charlie and Chessie). In Don's spare time he participates in
a variety of outdoor activities; ultra marathon cycling,
mountain biking, running, kayaking, hiking and nature
tourism. He is an active member of the Waco Bicycle Club,
H.O.T. Naturalist and the H.O.T. Pond and Water Garden
Society.
Robin Kerby- Veterinary Technician

Robin is from the tiny town of Goldthwaite and moved to
Waco in 2006. She has been a part of the South Bosque
team since February 2010. Robin has 3 crazy cats named
Cricket, Momo and Cici. She is scheduled to be married
in June this year to her fiance, Josh.  In her spare time
Robin enjoys singing, dancing and doing recreational
sports at the lake. Robin is compassionate with all the
animals she comes across and is excited to increase her
education in Veterinary Medicine .
Jessie Masquelier- Veterinary Technician

Jessie recently moved to central Texas from Pennsylvania
to work on the World Hunger Relief Farm. She has
shown a love for animals since childhood by participating
in dog shows and volunteer work for shelters. She has
experience working with livestock, companion animals
and exotic pets. Jessie practices canine agility and
obedience with her own animals. She has been part of the
SBVC team since April 2010. Jessie is currently attending
MCC's Registered Veterinary Technician program. When
Jessie is not busy working or in school she spends time
with her green iguana, Ursula.
Michael Whipkey- Animal Caregiver

Michael is from the small town Moody, Texas and
came to South Bosque in May 2010 with kennel
experience.  Michael recently graduated from Moody
High School and plans on attending a local college
soon.   He enjoys spending time in the great outdoors
fishing, swimming and riding four wheelers. Michael
lives with his mom, step-dad, brothers and sisters
and together they have multiple pets as well as a
large herd of cattle.
